A good blog name should be catchy and also descriptive so that potential readers can instantly tell what your blog is all about just by looking at the name. Once you have some blog name ideas, you will need to choose a custom domain (.com, .in, .net, etc) that will include cost, or just start with a free sub-domain. If your choice of domain or sub-domain is already registered, you may still be able to get the different extension (.net or .org) of your blog name or you can try with:

A blog hosting is a company that stores all of the files related to your blog and then delivers them to the user when typed in your blog name in the browser. You must have a blog host that will cost you minimal but if you want to go ahead with 100% free then you will have to rely on open platform free blog sites like blogger, WordPress blog, Wix, or Weebly. If you decide to go ahead with having a host you need to go into your CPanel and first install WordPress there, to move ahead with the blog I’m considering WordPress as the example because firstly it is the most popular content management system (CMS) platform available online and secondly is it used in both host and open sources.

Now once your account is created time is give your blog a professional look.

Step 3: Customize your blog

Once you login into the administrator area of WordPress. This is the area where you can make and control any changes on your blog. Everyone has their choice of how they want their blog to look. The themes heart of the entire design of your blog.

Step 4: Now write a post & publish it

Now that your blog is up and running it’s time to do some blogging! Let now go to the “Posts” menu present on left by default, you will find there is already a post there. This is a standard post on every new WordPress blog, but we don’t need it. Thus need to delete it, to do so click on delete then click on “Trash” just below the post.

You are now on the post editor screen. Enter the title related to your first post in the top box and then start writing your content related to the post in the lower box.

If you want to add an image to your post, click on the “Add Image” icon in your editor and then click “Upload” to upload an image from the drive on your computer. You can even fix the size of the image. When you are happy with the result click on “Insert into post” to add the image.

Once the post is done just click on the “Publish” button on the top right side of the editor screen and publish it.

Step 5: Promote your blog

Making a well and cleanly designed blog and publishing great content is just the start. To get subscribers or readers for your blog, you will also need to spend some time promoting it, especially when you launch it.
